Recover Critical Metals from the Oilfield

Turn your waste into a revenue stream with next-generation extraction technology

Oilfield metal extraction

Over 1 trillion gallons of produced water is disposed of annually in the United States, at a major cost to operators. However, this water contains trace levels of many valuable minerals such as Lithium, Gold, Platinum, Palladium, and Rare Earth Elements. Our proprietary solutions enable efficient economic extraction of these minerals, turning a burdensome cost into a valuable revenue stream for our partners.

An Integrated Recovery Solution

We make oilfield metal extraction economical by combining two innovative technologies that enrich metal concentrations of produced water and selectively recover these metals at the surface. While traditional methods are economically infeasible and only target lithium, our process unlocks countless metals of interest for profitable recovery.

In-Situ Enrichment with LithX

A variation of our proprietary LithX chemical suite formulated specifically for the oilfield is applied down-hole to break up shale, liberating metals and increasing their concentration in produced water by 4.5x. In addition to supporting metal recovery, this process increases the flow of hydrocarbons.

Effective Surface Recovery with Direct Metal Extraction

Our Direct Metal Extraction (DME) technology simultaneously extracts all metals of interest from enriched wastewater with proprietary resins, realizing over 90% recovery rates. The end result is high-purity metal products and clean agriculture-grade water.

Turn your waste into value

There are significant levels of valuable metals hidden in your oilfield wastewater. The extraction technology just isn’t economical – until now. We are actively seeking partners to deploy LithX and DME across the major U.S. oil basins. Reach out if you are interested in learning more.
