Using a low-impact chemistry that operates at ambient temperature, our breakthrough lixiviant unlocks copper from low-grade, refractory, and waste materials without added acid or high heat.  The novel lixiviant enables heap leaching and tailings recovery with no major infrastructure upgrades, giving producers new flexibility – and profitability.

LithX enhances copper dissolution by disrupting passivation layers that limit recovery from chalcopyrite and other sulfide ores. The technology also improves performance on transition ores with mixed oxide-sulfide mineralogy and requires less acid than conventional leaching methods, enabling higher recovery from challenging resources with a lower chemical burden.
